In the past few days, the heated trial between Apple and Samsung has been slowly drawing to a close. Judge Lucy Koh has been urging both companies to settle out of court, instead of leaving the decision of such a large case to a jury. For those that haven’t heard, Apple is demanding over $2.5 billion in damages for Samsung’s alleged infringement.
Today, Samsung lawyers revealed that CEOs of both companies had met to discuss settlement, but they were unable to reach a final agreement.
“The CEOs did speak…There was no resolution.”
This final effort to settle comes just one day before closing arguments are scheduled to begin. Jury deliberations are expected to start some time on Wednesday, after which a verdict will be given.
What do you think the jury will decide?
