iPhone 5 Launch Date Confirmed By Verizon

A few days ago we clearly stated that the new iPhone was to be released on the 21st of September based on both iMore’s sources and conference scheduling. Since then even more proof has emerged coming from TechCrunch. They claim that a reliable source working at Verizon was notified of a retail vacation blackout between the 21st and the 30th of September. This clearly predicts something big is happening that week, and while it may not be solid evidence alone, the fact that there are so many rumors pointing to that date solidify the prediction.

Apple may be good at being secretive but their growth has made it harder to contain all their information. While the release will be on the 21st it is fairly certain that the announcement  will be sooner.  Our prediction based on many other rumors is the 12th of September.
