From the Editor’s Desk – Our thoughts on the iPhone 5 and on BlackBerry 10

Now that we are just a week away from the iPhone 5 launch, all the speculations are starting on full-speed.

RIM is also getting ready to launch their devices in October; they are showing us a little about the L and the N devices.

The iPhone 5 is known to have a 4” screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9, with a new micro-dock adaptor, 3.5mm headphone jack repositioned, etc.

The BlackBerry 10 news is something that we already know and that is, they will be launching the full touchscreen BlackBerry 10 device first and then the Qwerty keyboard.

These devices will be launched and will be definite competitors, but not as big as Samsung and Apple.

What do you think is going to be the look on Samsung’s face once the i5 is launched?

Either way, the iPhone 5 is speculated to be the BEST iPhone there ever was, and will be the best device on the market. All the way back, to 2007 when the iPhone revolutionized the smartphone industry.

Apple did something which no other company could even dream of.

Simply because they had Steve Jobs, now we just have to see if Apple still has that power without Steve and with Tim and his team.

I have lost a lot of hope in RIM because of their major loss, but let’s see what they make out of their BB10 devices, because now it all depends on how they want their name to go back to the market.

Considering the fact, they sold 3 jets to pay for RIM…

The rumors continue at the fact that RIM will be bought by the end of 2012 by either Microsoft or Samsung.

I feel Microsoft has a higher advantage of RIM, whereas Samsung doesn’t.

Anywho, we just have to wait and see whether or not RIM can put its feet back on the ground or not, and if Apple has lost its space in our hearts.
