iPad Mini Prices To Start At $329
With Apple’s new event only days away rumors of new products are being spread faster than ever. There is no doubt that the events main feature will be a smaller version of the iPad. Probably the most important aspect of the iPad mini is it’s price. With the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Google’s Nexus 7 both stating at $199 Apple’s new tablet will have to be priced competitively.
Apple is known for their higher prices when it comes to most of their hardware so it would be expected that the iPad mini would have a higher price. With the iPod Touch 5th Generation priced at $300 it would seem a bit off if the tablet costs less. Today, 9To5Mac posted a matrix of leaked prices starting at $329. With a reasonable price coming from a reputable source I would be surprised if the actual value was far from it. Also, keep in mind that the $329 mark is for the lower end model and there will likely be two memory upgrades for $100 each similarly to most products.
