As we told you previously, Mercedes-Benz has gone ahead and refreshed their S-class lineup this week at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show, from the basic S450 to the Mercedes-Maybach S650. All vehicles get welcomed additions both inside and out.

New engines, under the same body, with updated choices for the interior. Alongside new safety and technology features – making this car more advanced than ever before. All the new S-Class vehicles get a facelifted front and rear bumpers, adding a sense of familiarity with the new E-class. Radiator grilles that were only seen on the V12 model, are now seen as standard on all vehicles. The headlights and taillights have ben updated, alongside the 20-inch wheels.

However, the already opulent Mercedes-Maybach doesn’t receive any major changes, but they are somewhat noticeable. You now get a Maybach logo on the front grille, allowing everyone to know it’s not just a standard S-class.

Inside, you get the fun. You get a new three-spoke steering wheel, along with three new upholstery options, and an updated infotainment system, with a single-piece of glass as the display. The S-class also gets an upgrade on the safety features such as; Active Distance Assist Distronic which can now adjust speeds ahead of corners, controlling the speed of the vehicle. You also get wireless phone chargers in the centre console.

No pricing has been announced, but it won’t be all that different from current prices. Stay tuned for more!
