Sirin Labs have recently entered the high-end side of the smartphone market, with their “Rolls-Royce of all smartphones” dubbed the Solarin. A device which has been under-development for two-and-a-half years. Vertu has been a dominant company in the “high-end” luxury market, but it looks like Sirin Labs plans to enter that league now.

The Solarin is aimed towards “international business travellers.” The company claims “Price is not on our agenda” as said by the Sirin Labs’ president and co-founder Moshe Hogeg, at the London unveiling of the smartphone. He says “when the price tag determine technology, it means the world’s most cutting-edge — and expensive — technology isn’t available to the mass market, due to the constraints of creating an affordable product.”
