A recent report in China’s Economic Daily Times tells us that Apple AirPods manufacturer, Inventec, is increasing capacity so as to meet high demand.

The report noted that Inventec has recently started expanding capacity at its Shanghai plants in order to satisfy increasing demand for the earphones and the plants are currently working overtime to deliver orders …

Unfortunately, Inventec hasn’t stated anything on the matter.

What we know so far from Apple is that Tim Cook said that the company was making them “as fast as we can” to keep up with demand. No sales reports were provided.

Well, you can tell that the AirPods is a hot product in the market as Apple’s U.S. website currently shows a six-week delivery waiting period for the product. If you are one of those who wants it badly and wants to be alerted when the AirPods come in stock again at your nearest Apple Store, you may wanna keep your eyes on this.

Have you bought one yet?
