Apple has gone ahead and released tvOS 11.2 to the public today, after beta testing. The update will normally be installed automatically, however you can go ahead and manually get it by going to System, and then Software Update on your Apple TV.
The update isn’t that major to be very honest, it simply gives new options in the Audio and Video section for the Apple TV 4K owners allowing them to set a matching frame rate and dynamic range behaviour separately. This will simply boost performance during gaming.
tvOS 11.2 also beings access to live sports via the ESPN application. The application can be accessed via the new Sports section at the bottom of the TV application, wherein the contents can be customised based on the user’s preferences.
