Alongside the 8th iOS 10 beta today, Apple has gone ahead and seeded the 7th beta of tvOS 10 to developers as well. tvOS 10 brings notable changes such as dark-mode, single sign-on, and much more. It is recommended not to install this Beta on your Apple TV until it’s out publicly as it may cause problems in future for your Apple TV.

However, for those wanting to try anyway, you’ll have to head over to Apple’s Developer Portal and download the Beta Profile onto your Mac/PC. Then, connect your Apple TV to the computer with the Beta Profile, open iTunes and click Option (Mac)/Shift (Windows) + Update and select the Beta Profile. Once that’s done, head over to Software Update on your Apple TV and the update should be there.
