Last month, Apple selected Wistron as their primary manufacturer for all their iPhones in India. Wistron, set up a plant in Bengaluru to commence the production.

 

According to sources, Apple plans to begin assembling the iPhone SE in India in the coming few months. Although the device is a year old, it’s the cheapest device offered by the company in the Indian Market. Having shipped almost 2.5 million iPhones to India last year, being the most they’ve ever shipped.
