Apple just unveiled the new Apple Watch called the ‘Apple Watch Series 2’.
The new watch is waterproof: it is water resistant up to 50 meters so now you can swim with it!
The design is pretty much the same as the first one so you can expect to use some of the new bands with your 1st gen Apple Watch.
Apple Watch Series 2 comes with a 2nd-gen S2 system-on-a-chip with an up to 50% faster dual-core processor, an entirely new GPU that delivers up to 2x faster graphics performance. The watch even has a 2nd-gen display that is 2x brighter. Brightest display that Apple has ever shipped on any product: 1000 nits.
And the new Apple Watch now has built-in GPS. Cool, eh?
Apple Watch Series 2 will start at $369; with the old one priced now at $269 (start). Plus the the first one now is called ‘Series 1’ and also has the same new processor there in the new one.
You can pre-order both starting September 9. It will be available starting September 16.
