Audi’s A5 has been in the market for almost 10 years now, and has been a great success for the company. But it looks like it’s time to take the A5 up a notch, to the RS5.

It’s based on the Audi A4 Sedan’s B9 platform, meaning it’s Audi’s version of the BMW 4-Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe. In the case of the RS5, you’re looking at it competing with the BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C63.

The two cars that were spied are wrapped in camouflage, which covers absolutely everything. The shape of the bodywork essentially looks the same, however the front and rear are somewhat restyled. The front has larger air intakes and a lower chin spoiler. At the back, we now have a dual single-tip exhaust which clearly proving its the RS.

We aren’t sure of what to expect under the hood, but it’ll probably be something between six-cylinders, perhaps something taken from the Panamera? Like with all Audi cars, power will be sent to all wheels with their Quattro all-wheel drive.
