Audi recently announced their Quattro division changed their name to Audi Sport and told us they had new models on their way. The latest one being the, Audi Sport Edition R8.

The mid-engined V10 coupe already had enough power, and luckily the Audi Sport R8 is more cosmetic, than anything. It starts with 20-inch, forged aluminium wheels, brake callipers with a high-gloss red finish.

The side blades on the side of the car, have been a signature of every R8, this one gets a contrasting red finish regardless of what the exterior colour is. The grille, front spoiler and diffuser inserts are titanium black, and the tailpipe trims are finished in gloss black.

Inside, passengers get illuminated door sills, and the colour choice of the interior depends on the exterior. Seatbacks are embossed with an R8 logo, along with the flat-bottom, three-spoke steering wheel. The steering wheel has a red stripe on the 12 o’clock position. There is dark silver contrast sticking and carbon gloss inlays.

The Audi Sport Edition R8 will be limited to 200 units, all over the world and will start at $193,100 and the V10 Plus will cost you $218,500 with orders beginning in May, deliveries commence in the late summer.
