iPhone 5 Metal Back caught on video!

The same iPhone 5 backplate that was leaked last week to us, is now shown on video with the exact same dimensions, and the video shows us the entire phone chassis. This looks extremely promising to me, and the new design with the speakers, etc. It has no screen/digitizer but thats fine, we still get to see the entire phone. The design looks rather fantastic! The glass+aluminum makes the phone look SEXY! I’m not sure if they will launch this device next week, but it would be better for them if they do. Also it looks like the Antenna matches the color of the device that you choose. In the video it shows the Antenna in a Gunmetal color which looks really slick! I wonder how the White Color would look like.. Anyways, The headphone jack is now placed at the bottom, like the iPod Touch’s and is also now more convenient to have it placed on the bottom of the device. As it’ll be easier when the device is on a table, etc. it won’t need to be wrapped around the device or anything. Here’s the...

iOS 6 to have a new Silver Look and a look at the new Maps Application

Just a week away from WWDC, all these leaks are going crazy. I’m going to tel you though, hold-your-horses. The same thing happened with the iPhone 4S and the outcome… Was horrendous. I hope not for this launch. Anywho, the sources have confirmed the leak of the backplate is real and that is how the iPhone 5 is going to look! Here is the post for the backplate – Click Here Now, we have received another email with another leak. Which is… iOS 6 will sport a Silver Theme… Considering the fact that the white iPhone backplate was real and has Glass + Aluminium, this theme will definitely go awesome with it, not so awesome with the Black color though. I wonder what “Theme/Color” they would use for that. Maybe its Silver for both, who knows. The picture is a screenshot from the device and after going through the properties of it, was taken from a 4″ device…. It sounds a little fishy to me, but the iPhone 4/4S both have a 3.5″ screen, either this leak was meant to be, or is simply fake, we don’t know, but the properties of the original file that i got (the same uploaded above) if you have the skills, try to export it and see the properties. The screen size shows “4 inches” If thats true, then we can see a 4″ screen in the iPhone 5. The new Maps application made by Apple also sports the Silver look and is NOT blurry and this file is of quite high resolution and again taken from a 4″ device. This is extremely confusing for some but for me its simple. The screenshots were taken from an iPhone 5 Developer Device. Apple has now made their own Maps application and ditched Google Maps. The current Maps application has a Blue look to it, not silver….. Lets just wait. And...

Next iPhone to Launch Later this Year with 4G LTE? Duh!?!?!

So BGR has gotten a report from DigiTimes claiming that Apple is planning to launch a new iPhone later this year with LTE support. Well this is pretty obvious since the iPad was just announced and being released this Friday with LTE support, and there is a new iPhone every year. Apple sold more than 37 million handsets last fall after announcing, what many felt as disappointing, the iPhone 4S. So we are about 100% sure that this year’s iPhone will have 4G LTE, but what else could Apple add to the mix to make it better than the iPhone 4S? Perhaps a thinner device? Maybe a slightly larger screen? Let us know in the comments what you...

Asus-made Google tablet launch in May

According to DigiTimes, the launch of Google tablet to be made by Asus will be launched in early May. The tablet will be a 7 incher and you’ll have to shell out anything between 199$-249$ for it, to compete with other tablets. Initially, as reported by google, HTC was supposed to be the one making the tablet. However things didn’t work out, since HTC was concerned about its brand image and a low-cost tablet might not be what it’s looking into. Asus had launched the Memo 370T earlier this year at CES 2012, which was slated for this year at an astonishing price of 249$. Google approached Asus to make a deal with the company for Asus 370T ‘dream tablet’ to be the google tablet for 2012. The features expected are: Quad core Tegra 3 processor(already claimed by Asus during launch) Primary and secondary cameras 7″ 1280×800 IPS display Ice Cream Sandwich onboard 1 GB of RAM If Asus-made Google tablet can comply to these features, they surely have a winner in their hands. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0,7.7, Toshiba Thrive, Amazon Kindle Fire might have a tough time this year. Would you be interested in a ASUS Nexus Tablet? Let us know in the...
