HTC announced their Desire 530 last month in the US, unlocked and through T-Mobile, starting today that list has been expanded it’s availability to Verizon.
You can purchase the Desire 530 online from Verizon, however if you want to pick it up from the store you’ll have to wait till August 11th. Prices begin at $6 per month with a 24-month plan, with a total retail price of $144 which is $16 less than T-Mobile.
As a limited-time offer, if you have a Verizon device already active, and you activate a new line you can get the phone for $2/month with the same 24-month plan, so this will total up to $48 which is a total bargain! The device features a 5-inch 720p touchscreen, an 8MP rear camera with an LED flash, a 5MP front-shooter, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210SoC with a 1.1GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage, all running on a 2,200 mAh battery, with Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box.
