Huawei has unveiled a Limited Edition Porsche Design version of the Mate 9 which is going to be in stores all throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East starting December.
Porsche Design has a history of partnering with smartphone manufacturers, the most popular one being BlackBerry. Huawei here has an impressive aesthetic design and great performance, which makes this quite the smartphone.
The main difference between the Mate 9 and the Porsche Design version is the display, instead of a 5.9-inch 1080p LCD panel, the Porsche Design variant has a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 AMOLED display with a curved glass, which puts the fingerprint sensor on the front, right below the screen. Not only this, Huawei has also given this device 6GB of RAM compared to the 4GB, and 256GB of storage, an increase from 64GB on the regular device. The rest is the same, a 960 SoC, dual-camera’s, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The Porsche Design Limited Edition Mate 9 will go on sale later this year for €1395 (around $1550).
