A new picture was posted to a Chinese Social Network, Weibo showing us the schematics of the next flagship device by Apple, the iPhone 8 with a 5.8-inch OLED display.

Ideally it’s an iPhone 7 in terms of thickness, with thin bezels on the sides of the screen, and relatively smaller bezels on the top and bottom. What’s new is, the fingerprint sensor seems to have been shifted to the rear of the device, along with the new vertically aligned dual-cameras.

Here are the dimensions –

iPhone 8

  • Width: 72.5 mm
  • Height: 149.5 mm
  • Depth: 7.1 mm

iPhone 7

  • Width: 67.1 mm
  • Height: 138 mm
  • Depth: 7.1 mm

We still have the usual volume toggles, mute switch, lock button, SIM tray, Lightning port, but no 3.5mm jack. Take this leak with a grain of salt, because there isn’t a very high chance of this being the next flagship device.
