Recently, a MacBook Air was accidentally dropped from an plane by its pilot which resulted of it falling 1000 ft to the ground while the plane was flying at 105 knots (194.46 km/h). The pilot shared some photos of the dropped MacBook and also states that the laptop survived the drop and still powers on without any issue. However, there are some major damages, which are surely anticipated a fall like this.

Notably, the screen is completely normal and looks as if nothing had happened, but the track pad was literally destroyed from the drop. The aluminium body of the laptop seems to be bent down to the centre.
