Nikon has gone ahead and added a new camera to their Interchangeable Mirrorless Lens cameras, called the 1 J4, which by the company is known to be the fastest interchangeable lens cameras for continuous shooting with autofocus tracking.
The camera is introduced with more advanced features than the 1 V3, in a much more affordable package. It is said to have an Expeed 4 processor allowing it to burst shoot at 20fps with continuous autofocus, and 60fps with a fixed point. The 18MP CX-format sensor features an AF system that has 171-contract and 105-phase detect points which can focus anywhere on the frame. Video can be recorder at 1080p@60fps and 720@120fps with an ISO range from 160-12800 for low-light conditions.
The camera also has an 3-inch touchscreen display, with a microSD card slot to keep the size of the camera down in that neat and sharp aluminium body, which will be available in White, Black, Silver and Orange with accessories including an underwater case and camera flash.
No pricing or launch details, but they will follow shortly.
