Well, it’s been five years that we’ve waited for this day – but it’s finally happening. Nokia has officially announced their first Android phone. Nokia 6 is what it’s being called, and they hope this will get their brand back where it was.
Nokia 6 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, has a 5.5-inch full-HD display which is covered in 2.5D Gorilla Glass, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. All this get’s powered through a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and to make it all better, it’s got dual-SIM capabilities! The rear of the phone packs a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0, phase detection auto-focus and a dual-tone flash, and the front sports an 8-megapixel f/2.0 camera for your selfies. The phone also has Dolby Atmos tech and dual-amplifiers for a louder and clearer sound.
Nokia has definitely taken the design into heavy consideration, with a 6000 series Aluminium unibody with an embedded fingerprint sensor in the home-button.
Nokia’s really trying their best to get back up there, and i’ll hand it to them. This phone looks promising.
