gsmarena_002Samsung has gone ahead and unveiled a new mirror less camera, the NX Mini. It is about 22.5mm thick and the metal body only weighs in at 158g.

The camera has a 3-inch flip up screen, and well it can take as many selfies as you please. The camera has Leather and Metal, everywhere. It has a 1-inch BSI sensor with a resolution of 20.5-megapixels and can reach a shutter speed of 1/16,000s and does 6fps continuous shooting. It captures 1080p videos at 30fps. As the camera is pretty tiny, it needs a new lens mount system, and well here are those new lenses –

  • 9mm f/3.5 ED
  • 9-27mm f/3.5-5.6 ED OIS
  • 17mm f/1.8 OIS

You can use existing lenses, but for that you’ll need an adaptor which costs $150. The camera features Dropbox and Flickr, with Wi-Fi and NFC on board.

The camera is now available for $450 with the 9mm kit lens and will cost $550 if you want the 9-27mm lens instead. The 17mm f/1.8 lens will be available, in the coming months.

Another neat thing, Adobe Lightroom 5 is included with the camera to handle the image processing. Neat isn’t it?
