Just yesterday, Skype brought an update to its popular instant messaging and video calling app for the Mac OS X to version 7.1 finally bringing official support for OS X Yosemite 10.10, Apple’s latest operating system for Mac.

Skype 7.1 takes maximum advantage of the new features in OS X Yosemite so as not only to look good on the platform, but also to be very stable and fast.

Also, the update boosts the stability of the group conversation feature, making it much easier for a user to copy links in a group conversation, or to simply leave a group conversation that they just don’t want to be a part of.

If you are already using Skype for Mac OS X, then you can open the app and go to Skype > Check for Updates to find and download this update. Alternatively, you can get the newest version of Skype for Mac OS X manually from this link.
