Sony announced a new external lenses compatible with Android smartphones, and now they’ve gone ahead and taken the plunge and made an iPhone-compatible version. Each lens will connect over Wi-Fi Direct using the PlayMemories iOS application.
The QX30 will cost you $349.99 and the QX1 will cost you $399.99
The QX30 has a 30x-optical zoom and has a 20.4-megapixel BIONZ image processor. Wi-Fi and NFC are also on board, and it also has a built-in microSD card slot on the camera.
The QX1 on the other hand, has a mirrorless APS-C sensor with a 20.1-megapixel Exmoor CMOS sensor with a dedicated flash module. The QX1 also has an E-mount, which means users can also use their own Sony lenses.
