I0nIc posts a photo of a Jailbroken iPhone 5c

I0nIc has just tweeted out a picture of his iPhone 5c being jailbroken on iOS 7.1.1, we’ve been told there is currently no public jailbreak available for iOS 7.1 and above. Apple patched the exploits, therefore rendering the evasi0n7 tool useless. Now, this doesn’t mean iOS 7.1 isn’t jailbreakable though. We’ve seen proof from winocm and I0nIc proving that the jailbreak is possible. If an iPhone 5c could be jailbroken, and the iPhone 5s in the past, i’m sure it’s not going to be IMPOSSIBLE to have a public jailbreak. What do you think, will there ever be a public jailbreak? Let us know...

New iOS 7 Beta 4 Patches iOS 7 jailbreak

According to famous jailbreak developer and creator of the recent jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.5 the newly released iOS 7 Beta 4 released yesterday from Apple patches the iOS 7 jailbreak created by the evasi0n team. According to @iH8Sn0w Apple patched the kernel exploit used in the evasi0n7 jailbreak but did not fix the code signing bug. This means that a new kernel exploit will need to be found to jailbreak iOS 7.1+ when it comes out which will not be a simple fix to the jailbreak. If you want to be jailbroken on iOS 7 we suggest updating now and jailbreaking with the evasi0n7 tool before Apple releases iOS 7.1 and stops signing iOS 7 firmware. It is also suggested that you back up your SHSH blobs through tools like tinyumbrella or SHSHit in cydia to ensure you will be able to downgrade if you accidentally end up on iOS in the future. Hacker iH8Sn0w is known for a number of jailbreak tools but was recently involved in a controversy when it was discovered that he burned a valuable exploit in order to release his iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.5 jailbreak tool even after the iOS 7 jailbreak tool was released. He later explained on twitter that it was necessary to create the tool and the exploit he used was not a kernel exploit. But it just goes to show how valuable these jailbreak exploits become as Apple continues to make and harder and harder for new jailbreaks, forcing jailbreak developers to resort to less favorable tactics included the reported deals between third parties that were considered for the iOS 7 jailbreak from both saurik and the evasi0n team....

iOS 7.1 Beta 3 – Jailbreak, still not patched

Looks like when Apple pushed out iOS 7.1 Beta 3, a few people decided to take a chance by trying to jailbreak their device to see whether the Jailbreak is patched, and surprisingly Apple still HASN’T patched the jailbreak. So this means, you can easily go ahead and download the modified version of Evasi0n and Jailbreak your Beta 3 device, and edit the Expire Date to never expire meaning you can Beta 3 for as long as you like! What do you say? Do you plan to do this? Let me know...
