Currently, the rumors going on around the internet tell us that the upcoming so called ‘iPhone 6s’ might have the same 8 megapixel camera that all the current iPhone models have already. Looking back, the 8 megapixel camera has sticked with us since the launch of the iPhone 4s, however, Apple tweaks up the optics for clarity and color quality every year with a new iPhone.
No upgradation in the megapixels of the next iPhone camera would simply mean that the pictures to be taken on the next-gen iPhone will look almost the same as those pictures taken on current-gen iPhones.
However, MacRumors says that this time, Apple’s new iPhone camera would have dual rear camera lenses, which will enable us to take 3-D pictures and overall more clearer and crisp pictures.
