Thanks to the very-fast Apple A7 processor the iPhone 5s  on iOS 7.1 can now be set to quickly and automatically take high dynamic range (HDR) photos whenever it senses both bright lights and deep shadows in the same image. That makes it great for photos when we want to take a picture of  something at home and the lighting balance is just not right. Best of all, auto-HDR is really easy to turn on!

How to enable HDR Auto on the iPhone 5s

  1. Open the Camera app
  2. Tap on the HDR at the top.
  3. Choose HDR Auto.

The iPhone 5s will now choose when it’s good to use HDR, and when it’s not. You will no longer have to remember to turn on the HDR setting and miss a shot if you forget.
