Yes, there is a new 10.5-inch iPad as rumoured. Weighing in at just 1-pound, this is going to be the next big thing.

Apple is using their best display ever made, a True Tone Display which boasts a wide colour gamut, ultra-low reflectivity, up to 600 nits of brightness and HDR video. iPad Pro models also get a refresh rate of 120Hz, up from 60Hz. 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro getting A10X Fusion chip. It’s a six-core CPU with three high-performance cores and three high-efficiency cores.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro gets the same updates too. The Apple Pencil now has industry-best 20ms latency. You also get over 40% better graphics performance.

Both 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will start with 64GB of base storage. 10.5-inch iPad Pro will start at $649. 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at $799. 256GB and 512GB storage capacities available for both models.

All iPad’s now have a baseline storage of 64GB. You also get new accessories, a new case with support for a sleeve for the Apple Pencil. The iPad’s are available today and begin shipping next week!

Now, back to the software part of iPad, iOS 11. There is a new Dock, similar to that on the Mac – allowing you to fill it up with as many applications as you want.

You have a redesigned app-switcher, redesigned multi-function keyboard, drag-and-drop, and more!

You get a new application, similar to iFile (with those who are familiar to Jailbreaks) showing you all the files on your iPad, called Files. It looks like Finder on Mac.

This is the new App-Switcher for iPad. This is done by pulling up from the bottom of the display.

Apple claims this is “the biggest release for iPad ever.”
